Denice Rivers

Denice started singing at the age of 5 in church (mostly gospel) and later doing weddings and retirement gigs. While singing around the file cabinets at work, another band member (Nelson Kerr) heard her and asked her to come and sit in with the band and she's been in the band ever since. Some of her musical inspirations are Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Etta James, Billie Holliday, Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington and most recently a singer by the name of Rachelle Ferrell. It's no wonder her musical taste leans toward jazz since her father is legendary jazz saxophonist Red Holloway. Denice adds a certain diva style to the once all male Mad Cows that is not to be missed.
